To have a relationship with anyone
There are two things that's a must
   One is unconditional love
And the other is mutual trust
When these two things, are broken by one
It leaves the other in despair
To think the one you loved, with all of your heart
Showed you how much they did really care

Sometimes we're fooled by this loving trust
And we just take these things for granted
   What changed in this relationship
That caused the roots to become unplanted
To lose your love to someone new
For the piercing pain you now are dealing
Your broken heart and being alone
For it's depression now you are feeling

To help you through your poor state of mind
Encircle yourself, with family and good friends
For they will give all the love and strength you need
And pick you up, should your knees ever bend
It's ok to cry and feel sad inside
It's all part of this healing process
For time is a major healing power
And your bed, becomes a bed of roses

Don't close your heart out to anyone
Who will make you feel so great
Give love a chance and you may find
This one could truly be your soul mate
Put the past behind and tell your self
This is a lesson I did learn
Don't give your love to someone else
Without getting loved back in return.
